The LRF TRMC’s research programme until 2015 is comprised of four linked research themes of:

• safety regulation
• safety performance data analysis
• technology and innovation
• human reliability analysis

Each draws on expertise from a range of academic specialisms including engineering, economics, mathematics and the behavioural sciences and is transfered to safety practices across transport modes and other safety critical industries including the complex context of multi-modal operations.
