More than a decade of support for a landmark series of research projects.

DIAMONDS (Diagnosis and Management of Febrile Illness using RNA Personalised Molecular Signature Diagnosis) is a €23.8 million landmark multidisciplinary research project funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme. Professor Michael Levin is leading an international consortium of 28 research partners from across the world to diagnose in less than two hours the cause of child fever using a simple blood test.

It is the culmination of decades of collaborations with research partners from around the world: from Ilulu (2006), to EUCLIDS (2012), PERFORM (2016), and now, DIAMONDS. RIMO has worked with Prof Levin and the growing body of consortia since EUCLIDS which is a culmination of 10+ years of collaboration and over 52million EUR of project value.

The Research Impact Management Office (RIMO) helped to coordinate and submit the successful funding applications of EUCLIDS, PERFORM, and DIAMONDS. RIMO has and continues to support the consortia via financial management, liaising with the EC, and leading on the successful delivery of project meetings, reports, deliverables, and milestones.
