Hearing Loops in teaching spaces

A hearing loop (sometimes called an audio induction loop) is a special type of sound system for use by people with hearing aids. The hearing loop provides a magnetic, wireless signal that gets picked up by the hearing aid when it is set to ‘T’ (Telecoil) setting.

A number of teaching spaces at Imperial are equipped with hearing loops, others are equipped with Sennheiser MobileConnect to enable audio to be passed to hearing aids.

We are working to add information about which spaces are equipped with hearing loops to our AV support for teaching spaces.
