Undergraduate study at Imperial is for students who hold an accepted qualification equivalent to an A-level and who wish to study at the university full time. We don't currently offer any part-time undergraduate courses, or undergraduate degree courses that are only online.
All applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements for course(s) of interest. This includes:

Course academic requirements: This includes specific course requirements and must be accepted qualifications.

Admissions tests: Some departments require both minimum entry requirements and an admission test.

English Language: You need to meet our English language requirements, even if it is your native language.
The majority of students apply in their final year of high school, on the basis of grades they are predicted by their teachers to achieve. Only applicants who receive and accept an offer are required to send us their final grades.
Transfer/visiting students
Students who are already enrolled at another university – either in the UK or overseas – should either apply as a visiting student, or should contact our Admissions team about opportunities to transfer.
- Transfers are accepted by the departments of Life Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.
- Transfers are not accepted by departments in the Faculty of Engineering.
