If you're unable to make one of our organised visits or tours, then you are still more than welcome to visit us to see our campus. We offer a self-guided tour of our main South Kensington campus through the 'Welcome to Imperial' app.

Our new 'Welcome to Imperial' app is now available to download from either the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Please follow the below instructions on how to install.

1. Open the app and select the 'Imperial College London Tour' within the Explore tab.
2. Click 'download' to add the tour to your device. If the guide does not open automatically, you can select 'open' to launch it. (When you re-open the app the tour will be stored under the My Guides tab).
3. Tap the menu in the top left corner and select 'Campus Tour'.
4. Select 'Begin Tour' to launch your self-guided tour of Imperial, follow the instructions and map to navigate around.

The tour begins from outside the College Main Entrance on Exhibition Road, and at a leisurely pace takes around 35–45 minutes. Learn more about travelling to the campus on our visit pages.

We recommend visiting during daytime opening hours between 8.00 and 19.00. Imperial closes on bank holidays and dates around Easter and Christmas. Be sure to check our closure dates for the year.

This is a general tour of the South Kensington campus aimed at prospective students and their supporters. As you follow the tour, please bear in mind that this is a busy working campus, and our labs have stringent safety protocols, so you won't be able to go inside most academic buildings.
