Unable to enter full details of high school qualifications

If you are unable to enter your high school level qualifications, you can include these on your CV instead, or upload these results as a high school transcript under the “supporting documents” section.

Error when trying to upload a second choice personal statement

You can submit your application online without your second choice personal statement. You can send this personal statement by email to the relevant admissions team, in case your first choice application is unsuccessful.

Cannot resend or amend references once application is submitted

If you need to resend or amend your references after your application is submitted, please contact your referees directly and ask them send their reference to the relevant admissions team by email.

General information on using the application system

Activating your account

When you create your account for the very first time, a verification code is sent to the email address you used.

Please use the code in this email to verify your account.

If you cannot find the email, check your junk/spam folders to make sure it's not there.

If you still cannot find the email, try using the button to send a new code.

If you do not receive the verification email this time, please use this enquiry form to contact the Technical team.

Resetting your password

If you forget your My Imperial password, you can reset this yourself by following these steps:

  • Navigate to the My Imperial landing page.
  • Click the Forgot your password? link and enter the email you used to create your account.
  • Check the email account which you used to create your My Imperial account for an email with a verification code.
  • Enter the verification code, click Verify code and then Continue. You will then be able to confirm a new password.
  • If this email doesn't arrive, please check your spam/junk mail folders first, before contacting us at admissions.enquiries@imperial.ac.uk.
  • If you no longer have access to this email account, please also contact us at this address.

Issues with creating an account or password

For all issues when creating an account or a new password, please use this enquiry form to contact the Technical team.

Please provide as much information as possible on any error messages you are seeing and the steps you are taking.

When creating a password, please remember it must contain all of the following:

  • a minimum eight characters
  • at least one uppercase letter
  • one lowercase letter
  • one number
  • one of the following special characters: @ $ ! % * ? &

I can't find the course I want to apply for

Please use the course search page to check if the course has been closed for applications. If the course is still open and you are unable to find it in the application portal please contact the relevant admissions team.
