Most of the research undertaken by the Turbo Group takes place within the framework of a research centre. These are mutually beneficial long-term industrial partnerships that enable multi-year projects, ensuring continuity in research and people development, while providing an enviroment for the development and transfer of innovative technology, with strong intellectual property protection. The Turbo Group currently hosts two such centres:

• The Caterpillar Innovation & Research Centre (I&RC), established in 2015
• The MHIET Future of Boosting Innovation Centre, launched in 2019
