Established in 2003, the Student Awards for Outstanding Achievement are an annual award for recognise outstanding achievement in any extra-curricular pursuit, demonstrating a commitment to making a positive impact beyond the classroom or research environment. The value of the award is £250, together with a medal inscribed with the winner's name. There are up to six awards available each year.
The awards recognise commend outstanding achievement beyond the academic subject area. The aim of the award is to recognise students who have made a singular substantial contribution to an activity outside of their studies / research that has positively impacted the wider community.
We know that students do some truly amazing things outside their studies, and the awards seek to celebrate these interests, passion projects and innovative ideas.
