Pride month

Pride takes place every June and celebrates LGBTQ+ people and communities. Pride commemorates the Stonewall riots that took place in June 1969 in New York.

LGBTQ+ awareness

Thursday 1 June, 10:00-13:00

This half-day training session explores how best to create an environment where a diversity of people can thrive. By the end of this interactive and engaging session participants will feel empowered and able to support LGBTQ+ people with compassion and confidence.

Tuesday 13 June, 10:00-16:00

This course allows participants to gain insight and skills in assessing and addressing the needs of LGBTQ staff/students with mental health issues and gain confidence in dealing with heterosexism, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

Imperial 600 are having a karaoke social at Eastside Bar to celebrate Pride Month. Come from 17:00, Karaoke starts around 19:00.

Bring your best singing voice, or just watch and enjoy the spectacle.

Join Imperial 600 for a celebration of Pride and Allyship in our community and fingers crossed for sunshine.

Imperial 600 will be unveiling Imperial's first LGBTQ+ Allyship badge at this event. There will be lots of badges to take away and give to your friends and colleagues.
