Centre for Biological and Medical Systems (1989 - 1999)
The Centre for Biological and Medical Sciences at Imperial College was formed by the merger of two research groups: the Physiological flow Studies Unit and the Engineering in Medicine Laboratory. In 1999 it was elevated to the status of a department.
