The MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures covers a wide range of topics. Each student is able to conduct four months of individual research on a topic of choice that culminates in a thesis submitted in September. This research interest is also the foundation for a presentation given during the Sustainable Energy Futures Annual Conference.

This year, the presentations have been organised into the following eight overarching themes:

  1. Grid Flexibility
  2. Sustainable Buildings
  3. Energy Storage
  4. Energy Access
  5. Decarbonisation Strategy and Policy
  6. Alternative Technologies
  7. Sustainable Transport and Fuels
  8. Offshore Wind Energy
