Stay over the summer
Imperial students can stay in Evelyn Gardens, Kemp Porter and Xenia, with availability ranging from one week to the whole summer.
Summer accommodation is available from Saturday 29 June until Saturday 21 September.
Summer Accommodation for Imperial Students
Summer accommodation applications are now open.
Experience a summer in London and take advantage of our halls' location! Choose between Evelyn Gardens, nestled in the streets of Chelsea, Xenia in the heart of Waterloo, minutes away from the Southbank, or Kemp Porter our newest halls of residence, located in North Acton.
Rooms can be booked in weekly blocks of between 1 to 12 weeks. Prices will vary depending on the length of your stay.
To be eligible for a place in halls over the summer you must be enrolled as an Imperial student for the duration of your stay. If you are a final year student at Imperial, you will not be eligible and you will need to arrange alternative accommodation in the private sector.
Due to limited availability, only one block is available for student summer accommodation at Kemp Porter.
How to apply
Applications for summer accommodation 2024 are now open.
Rooms are provided on a first-come-first-served basis and allocation of specific Halls and rooms are at the discretion of the Accommodation team (based on availability). We recommend you apply early for the best availability.
Ensure that you apply a minimum of 10 days prior to the beginning of your stay, due to offer turnaround time. Offers will be sent via email and will be subject to registration checks.

More about the Halls
Evelyn Gardens
Holbein, Southwell, and Willis Jackson residences in Evelyn Gardens will be available for Imperial students over the summer. Evelyn Gardens is set around a traditional London townhouse square in Chelsea and is a short walk from South Kensington campus.
Xenia
Xenia is a hall of residence located in Waterloo. Students can be walking along the River Thames in just a matter of minutes, with its famous and iconic backdrop of cultural attractions including the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern gallery to name but a few.
Kemp Porter
Kemp Porter is our newest halls of residence, located in North Acton. Located only a two-minute walk from North Acton station (Central Line), giving easy transport links to the South Kensington campus, Notting Hill, and Oxford Circus.
