Set across 22 interconnected Victorian period houses with a new, purpose built residential block to the rear, Wilson House is your home in the heart of London. It is situated just a few minutes away from Paddington station, the restaurants and bars of Paddington Basin, as well as a quick walk to Hyde Park. You're within a few minutes of our St Mary's campus and around 15-25 minutes from South Kensington.

Wilson House is named after Charles Wilson, 1^st Baron Moran, who was the Dean of St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School (now part of the College). Charles Wilson was also famous for being Sir Winston Churchill’s personal physician.

Wilson House offers self-catered study accommodation for 382 undergraduate students. Rent includes utility bills, internet access, basic contents insurance, maintenance, communal cleaning and a contribution to the halls activity fund.

**RV- Restricted View. These rooms are generally located in the basement of Wilson House and enjoy less natural light than the other rooms, with this being reflected in the reduced price. Some of the beds in these rooms are Study Beds and measure 3' x 6'3" (0.91m x 1.91m). Please view our short video on how a Study Bed works.

With the exception of the Study Beds rooms, all other beds are are 3' x 6'6" (0.91m x 1.98m)

Kitchens are distributed roughly one per house and are generally shared by 12-16 students. There are some larger kitchens (shared by the occupants of two houses) which are shared by 25-26 students. Students assigned to the en-suite rooms located in the Annexe share a super-sized kitchen with 72 students.

Wilson House is located in Paddington, a bustling and vibrant community, close to St. Mary’s medical campus. Paddington is home to a diverse population and as such there are many international restaurants and cafés nearby.

Wilson House is a short walk from the tube which takes you to the main South Kensington campus in 25 minutes. Alternatively, it is a pleasant 30 minute walk through Hyde Park or a 15 minute bike ride. The area is also served by frequent bus services.
