Welcome

This website is the product of a webdesign course which I took while studying Science Communication at Imperial College London. I became interested in the crossover of ideas between art and science, and decided that I would like to learn more (to perhaps include this in my dissertation). My dissertation idea has since changed, but I still want to document new and interesting examples of arty science and scientific art. This webstie serves that purpose and can be used by anyone seeking inspiration, perhaps for their own art-science collaborative project.

A blog of the development of this site can be found here. I fully admit that this is a simple site at the moment (using only HTML and CSS code), however, the 'web-design bug' has bitten and I would like to learn more. Next steps include adding some elements of java into my page (not sure what these will be yet...), improving the functionality of the site on Internet Explorer and learning a language such as PHP or Python in order to make a dynamic website which can be updated (with a view to allowing people to log in to an account to save the projects which inspire them).

So, welcome, make yourself comfortable and click on through to the featured section for more information.
