My research
I am working on a project that aims to develop an Artificial Intelligence/ Deep learning system for rapid and reliable diagnosis of Covid-19 through medical imaging.
My inspiration
Many inspiring mentors have influenced me throughout my life and helped me to realise that a career in science and research was more suitable for me.
Who is your STEM hero?
Nicola Tesla was an inventor and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current electricity supply system.
Most significant discovery/invention?
Maxwell's equations - these equations describe the creation and interaction of electric and magnetic fields. Our modern lives depend on our understanding of them. Without them, things like mobile phones, computers and electrical power would not be possible.
