Four current students and one alumnus joined by a non-IC-member travelled to the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific to carry out a number of scientific projects. These all related to the collection and identification of butterflies and moths in a remote mountainous region. Access to the site presented considerable logistic problems and a major exploration challenge.
