This expedition took place in the first half of November 2022  and aimed to trek the 180km circuit around Mount Manaslu (8,163m), the world's eighth highest mountain peak, within the Himalayas in Nepal. Considered one of the last untouched Himalayan Mountain passes, the Manaslu circuit provides a unique opportunity to encounter the Himalayas' diverse natural and cultural treasures, pristine habitats, and different communities. A further objective was to visit the Chitwan National Park to explore the rich biodiversity of Southern Nepal. The team of three was comprised of two Imperial students, and during the Manaslu trek they were accompanied on the Manaslu circuit by a local guide.
