Programme Updates
Student numbers 2012 – 2013
This programme aims to prepare non-business
graduates for a management career. It focuses
on a management core, combined with advanced
insights in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The programme exceeded all recruitment
expectations. With an original target of 20, a total
of 48 students, from 23 countries, completed the
programme in 2012.
Student Effie Kyrtata commented: “In my opinion,
there is truly no other degree like this anywhere in
the world. What makes it unique is that Imperial
is one of the best universities in the world for
innovation and entrepreneurship. It focuses on real
business cases rather than theory and students get
the chance to pitch their ideas to real investors.”
launched in 2011
This innovative programme was designed with
input from global business leaders, with the aim
of accelerating the marketing development of high
calibre graduates so that they can go straight into
the corporate world and begin to influence strategic
marketing. During this programme we ran a pilot
scheme providing all students with an iPad and
all materials and communications were provided
electronically. The results were very positive and
we extended this to most of our programmes in
October 2012.
New for 2012:
This new programme looks to equip students
with the advanced skills to understand and
apply strategic economic thinking to today’s
organisations facing increasingly complex and
rapidly changing environments.
