Booking Imperial Staff

Overview

This session will look at the main features of Panopto and include an introduction to using the Audio Visual (AV) equipment present in teaching spaces across Imperial campuses.

Panopto allows for simultaneous capture of audio, video, and software applications (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint). It can be used by Imperial staff and students to record and view lectures and presentations. These recordings can then be edited and shared in various ways during or after the presentation. For more information regarding Panopto, please visit the ICT website.

Who should attend

  • All staff members interested in using Panopto or improving their Panopto skill set.
  • New staff who would like to familiarise themselves with the audio-visual hardware in teaching spaces

This face-to-face session will take place in a teaching space such as a lecture theatre. Attendees are encouraged to make a Panopto recording during the session and should bring their own device with a webcam installed.

Please note this session does not cover training for the Videographer role and making Scheduled Recordings in Panopto. Please see the Digital Education Services booking page for more information on attending Videographer Training.
