We're giving one of our new students a chance to win some Imperial merchandise and kick-start their journey at Imperial.

To enter:

  1. You must be a new student joining us in the 2023–24 academic year for study at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
  2. You must be following @imperialcollege
  3. You need to tell us what excites you the most about joining Imperial in the comments to our post about this competition.

The prize includes:

  • Imperial College London hoodie - Epona Logo design in the colour and size of the prizewinner's choice
  • 500ml Imperial College London SERIES 2 Chilly bottle
  • Imperial College London tote bag
  • £30 worth of vouchers for Imperial's catering outlets

Please enter before 5.00pm (BST) on Friday 18 August 2023 for a chance to win the prize. The winner will be chosen using a randomizer and announced on our Instagram Stories on Thursday 24 August 2023. Your prize will be available for pick-up from our South Kensington Campus from Friday 29 September 2023. Your prize must be claimed by Friday 13 October.

Terms and conditions

  1. The prize draw is only open to new students joining us in the 2023–24 academic year for study at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
  2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.
  3. The closing date for entries will be 5.00pm (BST) on Friday 18 August 2023. After this date, no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted.
  4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  5. The prize draw will be for an Imperial College London hoodie, 500ml Imperial College London Chilly bottle, Imperial College London tote bag and £30 worth of vouchers for Imperial catering outlets. A winner will be selected at random.
  6. The vouchers are valid at all Imperial outlets excluding Essentials, Student Union outlets, Kimiko and Fusion 54. The vouchers cannot be used for the purchase of alcohol. The vouchers are valid for six months from the date of printing.
  7. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice if any event occurs that is outside our control.
  8. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
  9. The winner will be notified via Imperial College London’s Instagram Stories on Thursday 24 August 2023.
  10. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not confirm acknowledgement of the message by 5.00pm on Thursday 8 September 2022, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  11. Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. By entering the prize draw, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  13. Entry into the prize draw will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  14. Entry data will be processed in line with the Student and Prospective Student Privacy Notice and retained for three months following completion of the competition. Details relating to the winner may be retained longer online owing to the nature of social media.
