Banners are a great way to make your pages stand out and can be an effective way to present key messaging, add top links or showcase your best imagery. Each of the four page layout templates (content page, landing page with sidebar, landing page wide - left block and landing page wide with slideshow) has a corresponding banner type, so you must use the correct one otherwise your banner will not display.
